Junior Golf Clinics: Summer Program! ~ FALL RIVER COUNTRY CLUB ~
Classes Start July 1st & July 2nd!
Fall River Country Club’s devotion to junior golf can be seen with each junior, extending through the Professional Staff and Golf Committee, all the way to the Board of Directors. The Professional Staff and instructors understand the privilege and responsibility involved with teaching our junior golfers. No matter which group you and your child decide to become a part of, we guarantee a safe, fun, and educational environment for all. With our all-new “short course” now installed, that environment can more easily extend to the golf course! We want to see the whole family involved this season! Attendees of the 2015 Summer Junior Golf Clinic Program will also be eligible to participate in all-new Junior and Adult-Junior "play opportunities" at Fall River Country Club! Additional details will be available once the clinics are underway. The Summer Junior Clinic Program is available to both FRCC members and the general public. This program begins the second week of July and extends to the end of August. Emphasis is placed on instruction and fun! As a parent or guardian, you can be assured that your child will be placed in an educational and professional atmosphere. Class sizes are limited to ensure an excellent student-to teacher ratio. Quality instruction and proper safety are paramount. Please review the schedule below and feel free to contact the FRCC Professional Staff for the best fit for your child. The provided age brackets are just a guide. Clinic placement is flexible based upon each child’s age, personality, experience and ability. SUMMER 2016: SCHEDULE & OVERVIEW Classes start July 1st and July 2nd!
-BEGINNER CLINICS-
DESCRIPTION: This is the best age to become familiar with a natural swing. Learning the basics of golf will be the primary goal. This group will have weekly instruction and golf activities. More importantly, our staff will emphasize making the game FUN for each student. -DEVELOPMENTAL CLINICS-
DESCRIPTION: This group will include etiquette and history with the main focus being directed toward swing mechanics and fundamentals. More importantly, our staff will emphasize making a challenging and frustrating game FUN for each student. Our teaching staff will begin to help each student build the foundation for a great golf swing through instruction on the primary fundamentals of the swing, modified to fit the individual.
-ADVANCED CLINIC-
DESCRIPTION: This group is for the junior golfer who wishes to improve their skills through instruction and competition. The advanced group will participate in clinics and on-course instruction. Focus will be on fundamental swing mechanics, combined with the mental aspects of golf. On-course evaluations will chart their progress and pinpoint strengths and weaknesses. Participants in this group will be encouraged and assisted to enter the Fall season ready for High School-level golf. Dedication to the game, development as golfers and young adults, and maintaining a positive and FUN atmosphere will be emphasized. ___________________________________________________________
