WGA held their revamped July Invitational Member-Guest on July 27 to
29. Congratulations to Angie Gastall and her guest, Karen Kutniewski
for winning the 2012 title! Angie
and Karen fended-off the 2011 champions, Fernanda Viveiros and Leony
Hartig, by one stroke. Fernanda and Leony posted an outstanding score
of net 62 during the final round alone, nearly catching the overnight
leaders. However, the duo had to settle for 2nd place this year. Angie
and Karen built just a big enough a lead over the first two days,
coupled with some timely improvements during Sunday’s final round, to
secure the top spot! Congratulations to Cindy Prayzner and Karen
Marcos, who won Low Gross honors with a score of even par 72. ***2012 Overall Champions*** Low Net - 56 (-16)
