RESULTS

FRCC's Senior Club Championship (50+) was held on Saturday, September 24th.  Participants played 18 holes of medal-play, with prizes awarded for both gross and net scores. A "Super-Senior" division, for golfers 65 and above, was also conducted.  Congratulations to all the winners!

Bob Correia, the 2010 Low Gross champion, successfully defended his title.  Correia birdied the first hole on his way to posting an outstanding round of one-under-par 69!  Finishing tied for 2nd gross, but winning the tiebreaker by matching cards, was Wayne Bell.  Bell and Bill Ward both posted rounds of 77.  Remarkably, this marks the third consecutive year Bell has finished second.  Ward captured third place.

In the Net Division, Larry Wilson emerged as the winner by shooting a net 67.  Wilson squeaked by Steve Howard, the 2010 co-champion, by one stroke.  Fern Letendre finished two shots back to secure third place.

In the Super-Senior Divisions, Dennis St.Pierre won the Low Gross title with 78, while Dennis Machado captured the Low Net title with 69.  Thank you to all of this year's participants!
